SILASIL ENERGY.SG - The silage additive for green silage

SILASIL ENERGY.SG is a silage additive for moist (> 25 % DM) and protein-rich substrates with a medium sugar content (4-7 Brix). SILASIL ENERGY.SG ensures aerobic stability and prevents malfermentation caused by clostridia.

The product is used in grass silage with a dry matter content of over 25 % or in wilted clover grass, alfalfa or green rye silage with a dry matter content of over 30 %.

The silage additive contains a combination of hetero- and homofermentative lactic acid bacteria to protect protein-rich energy crops.

The homofermentative lactic acid bacteria ensure low pH values and thus protect against energy losses due to incorrect fermentation.

The acetic acid produced by the heterofermentative lactic acid bacteria protects the silo against reheating and losses due to yeasts and mold.
