SILASIL ENERGY.H3: targeted formation of acetic acid in crop conservation for AD

Silasil Energy H3

SILASIL ENERGY.H3 has been specifically developed for the targeted formation of particularly high amounts of acetic acid in the case of high levels of native leaf surface contamination with yeasts and moulds. The new lactic acid bacteria strain Lactobacillus parafarraginis, together with the proven strains Lactobacillus buchneri and Lactobacillus diolivorans, ensures a unique preservation performance.

Use of SILASIL ENERGY.H3

Use: 1 g product in a minimum of 0.25-2.0 l water/t ensiled material

Maize, cereal-WC and energy grass in the range of 30-45 % DM as well as CCM and crimped maize between 55-70 % DM.

SILASIL ENERGY.H3: Properties

In addition to the well-known properties of the SILASIL ENERGY product range, SILASIL ENERGY.H3 produces acetic acid contents of above 4 % in DM when best practise ensiling conditions are adhered to and a significant amount of propanol, as a specific metabolic indicator of this unique combination of lactic acid bacteria.

The result

SILASIL ENERGY.H3 protects valuable forage from yeasts and moulds, even under difficult conditions, and retains its full energy.
