SILASIL ENERGY®

For carbohydrate-rich crops

Product for carbohydrate-rich crops

SILASIL ENERGY® is an ensiling agent containing heterofermentative and homofermentative lactic acid bacteria. Promotes substrate digestion and extremely low-losses in the substrate preparation for carbohydrate dense energy crops.
SILASIL ENERGY®

Dosage: 2 g of powder dissolved in 0.25 - 2.0 l of water per ton of silage

Maize whole crop silage with dry substance content of 28-40 %, Grain maize products (e.g. CCM) with dry substrate content of 55-65 %,
Cereal whole crop silage with dry substrate content of 28-40 %.

How SILASIL ENERGY® works

SILASIL ENERGY® uses special lactic acid bacteria that generate a fermentation acid pattern with a high acetic acid content that is particularly suitable for biogas production.

Fermentation acid pattern optimised for the biogas process by adding SILASIL ENERGY® to maize silage (IFA Tulln, 2005) →
Optimised fermentation acid pattern with SILASIL ENERGY®

The result

SILASIL ENERGY® controls the ensiling process, resulting in two distinct effects:

1. Retention of energy in silo
The specially adapted fermentation acid pattern reduces the risk of aerobic instability, subsequent heating, fungal infection or spoilage of silage, so that the energy and nutrients contained in the crop are properly preserved.

2. Improved availabity of energy in fermenter
Silage treated with SILASIL ENERGY® is easier to hydrolyse. Biogas is produced quicker than without agent, and the processes are accelerated.

Your benefit

The use of SILASIL ENERGY® significantly enhances the methane yield. This makes the production of biogas from silage more profitable.

SILASIL ENERGY.BG

For protein-rich, low-sugar crops with high moisture content

For moist, protein-rich low-sugar energy crops

SILASIL ENERGY.BG contains homofermentative lactic acid bacteria selected especially for biogas production, to protect protein-rich and low-sugar energy crops.
SILASIL ENERGY.BG

Use: 1 g powder dissolved in 0.25 - 2.0 l of water per ton of silage

Grass, clover-grass, forage rye, lucernes, intercrops

How SILASIL ENERGY.BG works

The homofermentative lactic acid bacteria provide effective protection against energy losses due to low pH and high lactic acid content.
The intensive lactic acid formation from SILASIL ENERGY.BG minimises fermentation process losses during ensiling, and has a targeted effect against the increase of clostridia in ensiled material.
Intensive lactic acid formation with SILASIL ENERGY.BG minimises the fermentation process losses in ensiling
Intensive lactic acid formation by SILASIL ENERGY.BG provides a quick and profound lowering of pH as the basis for a stable ensiling process
Intensive lactic acid formation with SILASIL ENERGY.BG minimises the fermentation prozess losses in ensiling Intensive lactic acid formation by SILASIL ENERGY.BG provides a quick and profound lowering of pH as the basis for a stable ensiling process

The result

Protection against energy losses
The controlled inhibitory effect of SILASIL ENERGY.BG against proteolytic and saccharolytic anaerobic pests protects the harvested crops during the ensiling phase against energy losses, and also the formation of toxic metabolic products.

SILASIL ENERGY.BGZYM

For harvested crops which are difficult to ensile

For harvested crops which are difficult to ensile

SILASIL ENERGY.BGZYM is a combination product with enzymes and lactic acid bacteria for substrates which are difficult to ensile, such as grass and clover grass from landscape conservation programmes, delayed growth, concentrated late cuts.
SILASIL ENERGY. BG ZYM

Use: 5 g powder in 0.05 – 2.0 litres water/ton of silage

Grass/clover grass from landscape conservation programmes, delayed growth, concentrated late cuts.

How SILASIL ENERGY.BGZYM works

The BGZYM-Enzyme system made from cellulases, xylanases, ß-glucanases and acetate kinases, leads to the digestion of fibre fraction. Highly effective lactic acid bacteria convert enzymatic hydrolysed sugar to acids immediately and lower the pH. This inhibits the clostridia load.

SILASIL ENERGY.BGZYM increases the share of readily methanisable fermentation products

SILASIL ENERGY. BG ZYM increases the share of readily methanisable fermentation products

The result

1. Enzymatic digestion
Enzymatic digestion of the fibre fraction which is difficult to ferment and additional ensiling stability increases gas yield in the harvested crop.

2. Protection against spoilage with BGZYM-Effekt
BGZYM-Effekt provides protection by digesting fermentable carbohydrates and thus the increased bacterial activity also protects substrates which are difficult to digest from spoilage. Energy losses as well as the formation of toxic metabolic products is reduced.

Your benefit

Digestion and protection of the substrate are the success factors for higher gas yield in substrates which are difficult to digest.

SILASIL ENERGY.G - for biogas production and animal feeding

Combination product for protein-rich, low-sugar crops with high moisture content

Product for protein-rich, low-sugar crops with high moisture content

SILASIL ENERGY.G contains pure homofermentative lactic acid bacteria for the ensiling of protein-rich, low-sugar energy crops with a high moisture content for biogas production and animal feed.
SILASIL ENERGY.G

Dosage: 1 g powder dissolved in 0.25 - 2.0 l of water per ton of silage

Grass, clover grass, forage rye, alfalfa and intermediate crop with a moisture content of 20-35 %.

Biogas production and animal feeding
Combined use

How SILASIL ENERGY.G works

Silage made from protein-rich, low-sugar crops with high moisture content results in increased contents of butyric acid and ammonium that result in the loss of energy during storage.
SILASIL ENERGY.G controls the ensiling process, its special lactic acid bacteria produces specific fermentation acids which have a considerable lactic acid emphasis.
Less butyric acid and more lactic acid
SILASIL ENERGY.G prevents high ammonium concentrations
Less butyric acid and more lactic acid SILASIL ENERGY.G prevents high ammonium concentrations

Animals nutrition guide values <4,3 <2,0 >5,0 <0,3 <10
SILASIL ENERGY.G 4,0 1,4 12,7 0,1 7,5

The result

Preserving the energy in the silo
The specially developed fermentation acid pattern reduces the risk of anaerobic instability caused by clostridiums and the production of process-inhibiting substances such as ammonia and mycotoxins. The energy and nutrients contained in the silage are thus well protected.

Your benefit

SILASIL ENERGY.G reduces the loss of energy during storage. The substrate hygiene obtained is the basis for successful animal nutrition and an uninterrupted biogas process.

SILASIL ENERGY.C - for biogas production and animal feeding
