SILASIL ENERGY.C®

SILASIL ENERGY.C®

The universally usable biological silage additive for biogas production and livestock nutrition

In addition to the specialised silage additives for energy plants, SILASIL ENERGY® (for carbohydrate-rich silage material) and SILASIL ENERGY.G® (for moist, protein-rich, sugar-reduced silage material), Schaumann BioEnergy also offers SILASIL ENERGY.C® for the preparation of carbohydrate-rich forage for use in biogas production and livestock nutrition.

SILASIL ENERGY.C®, the specialised combination of one heterofermentative and two homofermentative lactic acid bacterial strains, protects the silage from energy-depleting pests and boosts the biogas yield of the fermenter while at the same time providing excellent eating properties for ruminants.

Because of the specially adjusted fermentation acid profile and its feed intake-boosting effect, silages treated with SILASIL ENERGY.C® are universally suitable for biogas generation and livestock feeding.

The biological silage additive SILASIL ENERGY.C® is used in carbohydrate-rich forages with a dry matter content of 25-40 % (silo maize, whole-crop cereal silage, sweet sorghum, energy grass).
